About Adam

Adam has over 38 years retail experience, serving the local Teignbridge, Torbay and South Hams areas, working with well-known local companies such as the former Renwicks VW and Audi dealership in Newton Abbot and then the former A.J.Blackler Ltd Peugeot dealership in Torquay for over 26 years! 

Adam has a fabulous portfolio of local friends, customers and welcomes any new members to this growing family, so please join him and benefit from the highest professional, friendly service and customer care Adam has been renowned for giving over the past 4 decades.

MEDLICOTT'S HERITAGE

Adam is the fourth generation of Medlicott’s to be involved in the motor industry. The first being his Great Grandfather who started driving horse drawn coaches then progressing to steam driven vehicles of the day. His son Adams Grandfather also worked in the industry as an engineer and test rider for the former A.J.S Motorcycle Company, where he met Adams Grandmother. 

Adams father Geoff then carried on the family tradition qualifying as an Auto Electrician, but also got involved with “TT” motor racing, he raced alongside famous names of the day such as Geoff Duke multiple British and world motorcycle champion and John Surtees CBE the only man to win the Formula 1 World Championship in cars and on Motor bikes.

Geoff subsequently founded his own Hillman Routes dealership operating in the 60’s and 70’s before retiring.

Adams passion for cars is in his blood enjoying fast supercars, along with various classic cars!!

Hopefully Adams son Sam and daughter Sophia will carry on the Medlicott’s family tradition.
